Hans Zimmer steps in for rocker...
Jack White has stepped away from The Lone Ranger. The former White Stripes frontman was set to compose for Gore Verbinski's upcoming western, but Indiewire reports that he has had to bow out due to scheduling conflicts.
As a result, Hans Zimmer will now score the film. Zimmer has worked with Verbinski before on the likes of Pirates of the Caribbean, The Weather Man and Rango.
