Steven Tyler says that the head of the personal management company he fired was rude and insulting to his fiance and his family. TMZ has acquired a declaration from the Aerosmith lead singer, in which he explains that he fired Allen Kovac's Kovac Media Group in part due to the fact that Kovac kept inserting himself into the situation despite Tyler wanting to work with another guy in the company over him.
The declaration is due to a lawsuit between Kovac and a lawyer he brought in named Dina LaPolt to negotiate Tyler's American Idol contract. Kovac claims that LaPolt began trashing Kovac to both Tyler and Idol, which he says led to Tyler firing them. Tyler has called the lawsuit "an outrage and a travesty."
