Ke$ha Disavows 'Die Young' In Wake of Newtown Shooting

Ke$ha has disavowed her song "Die Young" after it was being pulled due to perceived insensitivity in light of the Newtown shooting. As previously reported, "Die Young' has been pulled from multiple radio stations beause program directors were concerned that the title would be seen as insensitive in light of the death of twenty children and six adults on Friday. Now, the pop star has taken to Twitter to claim she didn't want to record the song.

Ke$ha, who is listed as a co-writer of the song along with Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco, Cirkut, and fun. frontman Nate Ruess, posted in response to several people slamming her for the song:
