To raise awareness...
NME reports that Muse helped raise awareness of dementia yesterday at a concert in Belgium. They introduced a charity show with a choir of people with dementia and their families to perform a version of their song "Follow Me".
The benefit was organized by radio station Studio Brussel. Drummer Dom Howard introduced the choir called "De Betties". He said: "We are very proud to have this great choir with us tonight who are going to play a song and they are raising awareness for dementia."
The band also performed in Antwerp last night as part of their world tour. Matt Bellamy says this has been their "best tour so far". They will return to the UK in the summer for a four-date stadium tour. The shows begin at Coventry's Ricoh Arena on May 22, 2013, before two shows at London's Emirates Stadium on May 25 and 26, and then Manchester's Etihad Stadium on June 1. The group also announced they will headline Rock in Rio on September 14. They will be joined by Alice in Chains.
