Because he never really stopped dating Karrueche Tran
Hollywood Life reports that Chris Brown and Rihanna are taking a break as it's become clear that Brown is more interested in Karrueche Tran while he's finishing his "Carpe Diem" tour in South Africa.
A source said: "He talks to Karrueche everyday by text and Kae is holding it down for him. Karrueche can't wait for him to finish his tour. She be telling him to hurry up home and s**t like that so that's what time it is. He ain't talked to Rihanna in two or three days. They given each other some space but they cool. They good."
Meanwhile, Christina Milan appeared on The Wendy Williams Show last Friday and said that Brown and Tran are still dating. She said: "She's his girlfriend. I see everything in the media, but I don't really get into the detail of it. But I think everyone has their own lives and how they deal with things. They have the right to handle it how they want. Karrueche is a sweetheart and I think they make a great couple. I do love her. She's a really good friend of mine. I actually don't know like every single detail, it's so confusing!"
The website also reports that Rihanna confirmed on Twitter that she is completely single. She doesn't even want to hear Chris Brown's name anymore.
Another source added: "She made sure her people told everyone on the crew of The Voice that no one could talk about Chris whatsoever, because she didn't want to hear his name!"
Rihanna seemingly forgave Brown for beating her three years ago and they were rumored to be dating. But it seems as though Brown has ditched her for Tran.
