Radar Online reports that Jessica Simpson's family spent the Christmas holiday apart thanks to a rift between them.
Jessica, her fiance Eric Johnson and their daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson spent the holiday with her mother, Tina Simpson, on a Hawaiian vacation. They went shopping together for last minute gifts and wrapping paper. Simpson and Johnson walked on the beach together.
However, her father Joe and sister Ashlee spent Christmas away from the rest in the wake of his gay scandal.
Joe tweeted: "Spending Xmas wish Ashlee. Best if times."
