Fox has made a switch in its New Year's Eve lineup, pushing The X Factor in favor of American Idol. Billboard reports that the network has added Tate Stevens, who won The X Factor, instead of American Idol season eleven winner Phillip Phillips. Phillips had been revealed as a performer earlier this month.
Marlon Wayans will host the broadcast, which takes place in Las Vegas.
