UPDATE: PerezHilton reports that the announcement of the birth of Shakira's baby was a prank. Shakira has not yet given birth.
ORIGINAL: Gerard Pique, Shakira's boyfriend, announced the following on his Twitter acount
"@3gerardpique Ya ha nacido nuestro hijo! Estamos muy felices! Gracias a todos por vuestros mensajes!"
This translated to in English: "Our son has been born! We are very happy! Thanks to all for your messages!"
Congratulations to Shakira and Gerard Pique.
