Azealia Banks Calls Rapping "Tacky"

She would like to come up with a different style...
HypeTrak spoke with hip-hop star Azealia Banks who said that she thinks rapping is "kind of tacky".
Banks also said she'd like to stop rapping so she can try focusing on other musical styles. Though she did say she'd also like to release two studio albums in 2013. Banks went on to say: "If I have things my way, if the universe allows me to do things the way I want to do them, I want to get two albums out in 2013. Not necessarily take a break, but do some sound research and come up with a different style."
She also stated: I'd eventually like to stop rapping. That's the honest truth. One day I don't want to rap anymore. Just because I think it's... easy, but I think it's kind of tacky. I think it's very unlady like. I like it. But, I think I'm going to get tired of it. I'd like to get two albums, get all the urban stuff, rap music, whatever ideas I have in me out and into fruition, and then maybe go back to school and take voice lessons again. Do contemporary jazz or whatever. But I definitely don't see myself being a rapper forever."
Banks' debut studio album Broke With Expensive Taste is set for a February 2013 release.
