Ellie Goulding Talks About Her 2013 Tour
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 12.29.2012

Billboard spoke with Ellie Goulding about her upcoming tour for 2013.

Her sophmore set Halcyon landed months after her 2011 single Lights from her debut album of the same name and became a success on the Billboard Hot 100. Regarding her breakout year, Goulding stated: "What we'd say in the UK is mental. Just because I have written and finished my record this year, and been around the world promoting it." Goulding wants to stay on the road for 2013 and plans on kicking things off with the New Year's Rockin' Eve on ABC. She said, "Next year is going to be so much [touring], so many shows. It's just going to continue."

She also said she'd like to keep making new music, "I'd like to do a side-project thing. I might be bringing out something next year. We'll see how much time I have." She also said she'd like to take up sky-driving and try to be more adventurous, "I want to be a bit more adventurous next year. I need to man up."
