Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 12.29.2012

Billboard is now reporting that the Les Miserables soundtrack for the film adaptation is set to jump to the top 10 of the Billboard 200 next week and could sell 100,000 copies by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, December 30.

The album was released on Friday on December 21, four days before the movie's official release in US theaters. The soundtrack hit the Billboard 200 in the last week with only three days of sales at number 33 with 43,000 sold per Nielsen SoundScan.

Les Miserables is currently ranked number 4 on Nielsen SoundScan's Building chart. Taylor Swift's Red still rules the number one spot.
