Google Music Users Upset That Explicit Lyrics Are Censored

NME reports that Google Music users are upset that songs with explicit lyrics are being replaced by cleaned-up, censored versions.
The service recently revealed a scan and match feature. This allows users to scan their music and give them online access to the songs it finds, if Google can match the songs on its servers. The service is free. However edited versions of songs like Cee Lo Green's "Fuck You" and Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" appear on their account, even if the versions scanned were uncut.
Google Music has thirteen million songs on its servers. Users can upload around 20,000 songs to their personal account.
Clean songs replacing explicit versions has also been a problem for the iTunes Match and Amazon Cloud services. It's not really censorship, as those who scanned clean versions of songs have found explicit versions appear in their account.
