Ace Showbiz reports that Adele is being rumored to perform at the 85th Academy Awards this year after spending most of 2012 out of the spotlight due to her pregnancy. She is rumored to perform the title track of Skyfall during a tribute to James Bond. The ceremony takes place on February 24 at the Dolby Theater, live on ABC.
The Bond franchise celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2012. The song is predicted to get a nomination for Best Original Song at the event, a month after the Golden Globes on January 13. Adele may have to choose between the ceremonies for her comeback performance.
