Good and bad events for Bieber...
2013 hasn't really begun yet and it's already a bad year for Justin Bieber. Billboard reports that after TMZ posted photos of Bieber allegedly smoking pot in Newport Beach, California (on January 2), he went on Twitter to comment on the rumors.
He wrote: "Everyday growing and learning. Trying to be better. U get knocked down, u get up. I see all of u. I hear all of u. I never want to let any of you down. I love u. and… thank u."
His manager, Scooter Braun, later tweeted: A lot of bs out there...but this is the kid I KNOW."
He then tweeted a story from the Desert News about Justin Bieber meeting a little girl in Utah who has leukemia and was too sick to attend his show in Salt Lake City. Seven-year-old Millie Flamm had to sell her concert tickets for the show last Saturday night at the Energy Solutions Arena. She was ready to go until she relapsed two weeks ago.
Friends and family then started an online and social media campaign that later went viral to have her meet him. Amanda Flamm, her mother, said they didn't know if it would happen or if she would be able to meet him. She was on oxygen and had a fever.
She said: "All of a sudden it pulled through and we were able to do a really intimate little meeting with just her and us and Justin and it was incredible and he was so sweet to her. He walked in and her whole face just lit up, and she turned around and hugged her dad, and then he ran over and came next to her and gave her a big hug."
He then sang his song "Baby" while holding her hand, then gave her his guitar pic. Her mother added: "She is squeezing on to it with all her might and will not let it go."
Bieber then kissed her on the cheek which caused Millie to tell her mother that she was "never going to wash my face again.'"
Flamm said: "I have no words. There is no way to say thank you to everybody who helped make this happen. I have no words but thank you, and that's not enough. It just has re-energized all of us. We are ready to keep going and fight harder with all this backing and this fun thing that has happened today, and keep going and keep fighting."
Bieber then posted a photo on Instagram and wrote: "Look at this bundle of joy.. I love her."
