Chris Brown Wants To Perform With Rihanna At The Grammy Awards
Posted by Joseph Lee on 01.09.2013

Radar Online reports that four years after he beat Rihanna on the eve of the Grammy Awards, he wants to perform with her at this year's ceremony.

A source said: "Chris wants to perform with Rihanna at the Grammys to show the whole world they are back together. Chris doesn't care what the haters say, and wants to give the viewers an over the top performance with Rihanna."

Several people have criticized their decision to get back together, especially considering how badly she was beat up. The idea of a domestic violence victim getting back with her batterer has upset many.

The source added: "He wants the fans to know this is the real deal, and he is a changed man. If Rihanna can forgive him, the rest of the world should move on from what happened four years ago. [Producers of the Grammys] haven't signed off on having Chris and Rihanna perform together. It's an extremely delicate situation and there is concern about the backlash the performance could receive. But it could also be ratings gold."

The two got back together late last year. Brown also recorded a song called "Nobody's Business", which appears on Rihanna's new album Unapologetic. Rihanna is nominated for three awards, including Best Pop Solo.

She appears in promotion commercials for the ceremony on February 10. She says in the ad: "When a door closes, you have two choice: give up, or keep going. Let them shut you down, or prove them wrong. We all start somewhere; it's where you end up that counts."
