Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Get #1 On Billboard Digital Songs Chart

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' song "Thrift Shop", featuring Wanz, has now reached the top of the Billboard Digital Songs Chart. It is the first #1 for any of the three artists to get #1 and their first to appear on the chart. The song also stayed at #17 on the Alternative airplay chart and climbed 25-23 on the Pop Songs airplay chart. It's also #1 on the On-Demand Songs chart.

1. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (ft. Wanz) - "Thrift Shop" (279,000)
2. Taylor Swift - "I Knew You Were Trouble" (261,000)
3. Will.I.Am (Ft. Britney Spears) - "Scream & Shout" (189,000)
4. Bruno Mars - "Locked out of Heaven" (162,000)
5. The Lumineers - "Ho Hey" (153,000)
6. Swedish House Mafia (ft. John Martin) - "Don't You Worry Child" (145,000)
7. Phillip Phillips - "Home" (122,000)
8. Pitbull (ft. TJR) - "Don't Stop the Party" (122,000)
9. Justin Bieber (ft. Nicki Minaj) - "Beauty and a Beat" (119,000)
10. PSY - "Gangnam Style" (105,000)

Digital songs this week totaled 28.83 million downloads, down 17% compared to last week (34.53 million) and up 1% compared to last year (28.56 million). Year to date track sales are at 63.36 million, up 3% compared to the same total at this point last year (61.32 million).
