Britney Spears Las Vegas Deal Is 'Definitely Happening'

Britney Spears' Las Vegas residency deal may not quite be done yet, but source say it's very close. Perez Hilton has sources close to Britney who confirm that the deal is almost a done thing. The deal would see Spears perform at a standing engagement at one of the Las Vegas casinos, similar to Celine Dion's residency but likely for far more money than even the $100 million Dion got.
One source noted, "It's definitely happening. Everyone in her team wants it. They think it will be the best thing for her to happen soon [and] are pushing hard for it to happen soon."
As for what the hold-up is, another insider said, "She wants to be in L.A. with her kids so there is no way she can move to Vegas full time or even part time. It's going to be an in and out thing—a limited number of engagements over a year."
