Britney Spears and will.i.am Hit #1 on Global Singles Chart

"Scream and Shout" tops the list...
Britney Spears and will.i.am have topped the global singles chart. MediaTraffic reports that "Scream and Shout" sold 409,000 copies worldwide this week, enough to unseat the US #1 track in Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven." Mars' single sold 378,000 copies and fell to #2 in its fifteenth week on the global chart.
Coming in at #3 was Taylor Swift with "I Knew You Were Trouble" (321,000 copies sold), up two spots from last week. Rihanna's "Diamonds" fell two spots to #4 with 321,000 in sales while Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" featuring Wanz was up five spots to #5 with 277,000 sold.
