Prince to Receive the Billboard Icon Award

Pop legend to be honored at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards...
Billboard has announced that Prince will receive the Billboard Icon Award at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards. The magazine will hold its annual award show on May 18th in Las Vegas, with the ceremony being broadcast live on ABC.
Prince will also perform at the award show as part of his honoring. He follows Stevie Wonder, who received the award last year, as a recipient.
