Jerry Seinfeld To Appear On Wale's Next Album
Posted by Joseph Lee on 01.21.2013

NME reports that Jerry Seinfeld will appear on Wale's next album.

Wale released a Seinfeld themed mixtape in 2008 called Mixtape About Nothing. He then released a follow-up, More About Nothing in 2010. Seinfeld has agreed to help him after his wife, a fan, played the tapes for him.

In a video interview that you can watch below, Seinfeld said: "Wale called me, he came to my show, we hung out a little bit. He wanted me to do something with him. I didn't understand it. But he did. I listened to his music, I liked it. We're living together, she's into him, he's into me, and I didn't know about the whole thing."

Seinfeld also said that he once approached P. Diddy about working together. He said: "I said to him, 'Hip hop's words, right? Why don't you take my words and do something with it?' I didn't know how to do it but I thought, 'Just take the words'."

Wale has also released albums since the Seinfeld mixtape including 2009's Attention Deficit and 2011's Ambition. He is now a member of Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group, appearing on their 2011 and 2012 Self Made albums.
