Bono Gets Newly-Identified Spider Species Named For Him

A newly-discovered species of spider has been named after Bono. Rolling Stone reports that thirty-three new species were discovered by biologist Jason Bond in the Joshua Tree National Park, which U2's 1987 album was named for. Bond, who works for Auburn University, named the spider species A. Bonoi after the rock frontman.
