Shakira and Boyfriend Hosting Charity Baby Shower

Couple partners with UNICEF for a good cause...
Shakira and her soccer star boyfriend Gerard Piqué have teamed up with UNICEF for a virtual charity baby shower. The shower, which you can access here, invites fans of both Shakira and Piqué to enter a virtual room to learn about infant survival and buy a gift to help underprivileged infants arond the world; the gifts include everything from a mosquito net for $5 and a polio vaccine for $10 to an special food for malnourished babies at $110.
Shakira, who is due to give birth this week, said of the shower, "Every couple that's expecting a baby shares our same dreams and hopes for their children. However, many don't have the same opportunities we do to give them a happy childhood free of preventable and easily cured illnesses. Together we can change that."
