Kelly Clarkson Sang Live at Inauguration Yesterday

Kelly's got one up on Beyonce...
While everyone is fussing about Beyonce lip synching her performance of "The Star-Spangled Banner" during the inauguration yesterday, Kelly Clarkson doesn't have to worry about that. According to TMZ, the rep from the U.S. Marine Corp Band who confirmed that Beyonce lip synched her performance added that Clarkson's "My Country 'Tis of Thee" was sang with the help of a backing track.
The rep added that it is standard procedure to record a backing track as a "just in case" situation. She added, "We all know Beyonce can sing ... We don't know why she chose to use the pre-recorded track."
