Eve To Release First Album in Eleven Years
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 01.24.2013

Eve has announced that she will be releasing her first LP in over a decade. The rapper told Billboard that the album, Lip Lock, will be released on May 13th. It is her fourth studio album; her last, Eve-Olution, was released in 2002.

Eve told Billboard that this is a new project as opposed to the one she started under Interscope in 2007. "It's not the same record," she said. "I just kept the same name. It took a minute to get out of the situation that I was in back then. That's what took so long."

She added, "There are so many great tracks on the album. 'Call Eve' is one of my favourites. I'm obsessed with it! 'Mom in the Kitchen' is the one with Snoop on it. I love that!"
