Madonna's MDNA Tour Closes With $305 million

Enough to be one of the top 10 all time tours...
Madonna's MDNA world tour grossed a total of $305.2 million over 88 shows, enough to rank in the all-time top ten tours. Billboard reports that the tour had a total attendence of 2,212,345 from 88 shows, having started on May 31st and running through December 22nd. That is an average attendence of 25,140 per show.
The total tally puts the tour at #10, ahead of the Rolling Stones' 1997-98 "Bridges to Babylon" tour ($274 million) and behind the Stones' "Licks" tour in 2002-03 ($311 million). It is Madonna's second tour in the top 10; her "Sticky & Sweet" tour in 2008-09 sits at #3 with $408 million.
