Justin Bieber's Paparazzi Court Case To Be Reinstated

An anti-paparazzi law has been upheld by an appeals court in California this week, meaning the a photographer who chased Justin Bieber may face criminal charges again. E! Online reports that the appeals court has issued a preliminary analysis of the law, stating that it doesn't violate the First Amendment and recommending that the charges against photographer Paul Raef be reinstated.
Raef was arrested after chasing Bieber in July of last year, hitting speeds of over 80 MPH. He was charged with failing to obey the lawful order of a peace officer, reckless driving, following another vehicle too closely, and reckless with driving with the intent to capture pictures for commercial gain. A lower court judge threw the reckless driving charges out. If the charges are reinstated, Raef could face up to one year in county jail and fines up to $3,500.
