Justin Bieber To Get #1 On Billboard 200 Among Several Debuts
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.02.2013

Billboard reports that Justin Bieber's Believe Acoustic is set to get #1 on the Billboard 200 in a week with several debuts. It is expected to sell around 200,000 copies and will be his fifth #1.

Andrea Bocelli is expected to take #2 with Passione selling around 85,000. She hasn't had a #1 on the chart but has been in the top ten six different times. Her highest-charting album was 2009's My Christmas, which spent five weeks at #2.

Tegan and Sara will get their best week ever and first top ten with Heartthrob selling around 40,000 and ending up in the top five. Their previous album, Sainthood, debuted and peaked at #21 in 2009 with 24,000 sold.

Other debuts include Charlie Wilson with Love, Charlie and Local Natives' Hummingbird. Wilson's album may sell around 30,000. This is Wilson's fourth album with his name in the title, following Just Charlie (2010), Uncle Charlie (2009) and Charlie, Last Name Wilson (2005).

Here's the top ten of the Building Chart with last week's rank in parenthesis.

1. Justin Bieber - Believe Acoustic (NEW)
2. Andrea Bocelli - Passione (NEW)
3. Tegan and Sara - Heartthrob (NEW)
4. Charlie Wilson - Love, Charlie (NEW)
5. Pitch Perfect soundtrack (#3)
6. Gary Allan - Set You Free (#1)
7. Bruno Mars - Unorthodox Jukebox (#8)
8. Local Natives - Hummingbird
9. Taylor Swift - Red (#9)
10. Colton Dixon - A Messenger (NEW)

It should be noted the Building Chart reflects the first four days (Monday through Thursday) of SoundScan's tracking week (which ends Sunday) as reported by six major merchants: iTunes, Trans World Entertainment, Best Buy, Starbucks, Target and Anderson Merchandisers. Billboard estimates that they make up about 85% of all U.S. album sales.
