Pete Wentz Says Fall Out Boy's Reunion Is Like Saved By The Bell: The College Years
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.05.2013

In an interview with BBC Radio 1 (via NME), Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz said the band's reunion is like Saved By The Bell: The College Years.

The band will be releasing their first album since 2008, Save Rock and Roll, in May.

Wentz said: "It's cool to be back with each other. It feels like catching up again with your old school buddies, but, like, we're back at school again. Its 'Saved By The Bell: The College Years'."

The band announced their reunion yesterday after a hiatus that started in 2009. They also released their latest song, "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)", which features 2 Chainz.

The band will also perform on the main stage of this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals. Wentz added: "Those are the biggest crowds we've ever played in front of ever and I never thought I'd be able to play there again. It'll be awesome."

Fall Out Boy also revealed several US tour dates in the announcement. They will perform at the Underworld venue in Camden on February 25.
