Performers Revealed For NBA All-Star Weekend: Alicia Keys, Fall Out Boy And More
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.06.2013

Billboard reports that Alicia Keys will perform at halftime at the NBA All-Star Game. The musical entertainment is presented by Sean John and Macy's. It will air live on TNT from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas on Sunday, February 17. Last year's headliner was Pitbull.

Keys will play a medley of her songs. Earlier in the night, Ne-Yo will perform during the All-Star Game player introductions and John Legend will perform the national anthem.

On Saturday, February 16, the Toyota Center will host the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night. NBA players will compete in things like the slam dunk contest and the three-point challenge. Fall Out Boy will perform their new single "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark (Light Em Up)". Ellie Goulding will perform "Lights" and Phillip Phillips will perform "Home".

Nick Cannon will host the event, which begins at 7 PM ET on TNT. RaVaughn and Michelle Peavy will perform the US and Canadian national anthems. Gloria Reuben will perform the Canadian national anthem before Sunday night's game, which begins at 8 PM ET.

Keys has had a busy month. She was recently named the Global Creative Director of BlackBerry and performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl. She will perform again this Sunday at the Grammy Awards. Fall Out Boy's appearance will be their first live TV performance since they announce their return. Their new album, Save Rock and Roll, will be out in May. A North American tour begins on May 14 in Milwaukee.
