UPDATED: Rihanna Accompanies Chris Brown to Court for Probation Violation Hearing

Brown's lawyer goes on the attack...
UPDATE:TMZ reports that Chris Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos went on the attack at a news conference after Brown's probation progress report, saying that he plans to seek sanctions against prosecutors and wants them held in contempt of court. Geragos claimed that the DA's office were filing false documents badgering Brown, saying, "I have never had a client who has been tortured like Chris Brown has."
Geragos added, "The D.A. is paralyzed with the thought his probation will be terminated. If that happens they won't be able to jock him around like they've been jocking him around." He also noted that Rihanna was present in court in order to support Brown and thinks that the DA's motion to violate probation is "ridiculous."
ORIGINAL: Rihanna was by Chris Brown's side for his probation violation hearing. As we mentioned before, the DA in Brown's probation case stemming from his assault of (you guessed it) Rihanna in 2009 has moved to have Brown's probation violated, claiming that he did not complete his required community service hours like he and his lawyer claimed.
TMZ reports that Brown showed up at court today at 1:50 PM PST with lawyer Mark Garagos and Rihanna. The pop star was in his corner for the hearing and sources at the courtroom say she blew him a kiss and said some supportive words to him before he walked in. She took a seat in the gallery behind Brown for the hearing, which lasted less than ten minutes before Brown and Rihanna walked out arm in arm. A source at the courthouse says Brown looked "dejected" and that Rihanna was trying to smile and cheer him up.
The judge in the case ordered ordered Brown to meet with his probation officer in L.A. within the next 48 hours to discuss the claims that he faked his community service. The judge also said he needed more time to review all the evidence that the D.A. presented and wants to hear from the probation officer after he speaks with Brown.
