Check out "Paul's Not Home"...
The first song Jack White recorded with Butthole Surfers singer Gibby Haynes has been posted online.
The two worked on three songs that will be released as a single on White's Third Man Records. It features the new songs "You Don't Have To Be Smart" and "Horse Named George", as well as a cover of Adrenalin OD's "Paul's Not Home", which can be heard below.
Haynes sings on all three songs and White plays guitar. White also provides back-up vocals on "Paul's Not Home". The song originally appeared on 1982's New York Thrash with the first Beastie Boys songs, "Riot Fight" and "Beastie".
The single will be out on Februray 14. Several limited edition versions of the 7" will be pressed onto old medical x-rays, which White calls a "flex-ray disc". They will be sold exclusively at Third Man's Rolling Record Store van at South By Southwest next month in Austin, Texas.
The song is part of Third Man Records' Blue Series, which includes special releases by Laura Marling, Tom Jones, Insane Clown Posse, Jeff The Brotherhood and Beck.
