Whitney Houston's Mother Says Inviting Her to 2013 Pre-Grammy Party is 'Obscene'
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.08.2013

Whitney Houston's mother says that getting invited to a pre-Grammy party that will honor the late Houston was an "obscene" move. Houston died just hourse before the 2012 pre-Grammy Party where she was scheduled to perform, and Clive Davis is planning to make this year's party a special tribute to Houston. But while some of Houston's family such as Gary and Pat Houston will be present, Cissy Houston will not.

"I got an invitation to the party, which is the most obscene thing," Cissy told Access Hollywood. "I don't know why they would want me to come to the party in which she died, you know? Unheard of."

She added, "I guess maybe he just sent me a copy for remembrance sake."
