Cee Lo Green Sued For Skipping Out on Christmas Contests
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.08.2013

A company has filed suit against Cee Lo Green over a series of Christmas concerts that never came about. TMZ reports that Cierra Management Group has filed suit against the singer and The Voice judge, saying that his people tried to con them out of over $200,000 for concerts that were never truly going to happen.

The story goes like this according to the group: Cee Lo's people allegedly approached them in November of 2011 to discuss a tour titled "12 Days of Christmas." Cierra declined as they would have had to front $100,000 per concert, which was too much. Cee Lo's people came back with an offer for six concerts, which was also declined. Cierra finally agreed to two concerts for a total of $243,000.

However, according to the suit the concerts didn't happen and Cierra doesn't believe they were ever intended to happen, claiming it was "a scheme designed to finagle funding capital for concerts they knew would not manifest."

While Cee Lo is not accused of being part of the con, he is being sued for allegedly refusing to perform the 2 concerts. The company is asking for $14.2 million.
