UPDATE: Paparazzi Chief Says Chris Brown's Accident Wasn't Caused By His Employees
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.10.2013

UPDATE: TMZ reports that Chris Brown is planning to sue the paparazzi photographers involved in his recent car accident.

The paparazzi who were on the scene when Brown crashed his Porsche are reportedly claiming they were not involved with the accident. They said they arrived on scene after the fact.

Brown's rep states, "We plan on seeking criminal charges and holding them civilly liable."

ORIGINAL: The head of a photography company says that its paparazzi were not to blame for Chris Brown's car accident yesterday. As previously reported, Brown hit a wall on Saturday and totalled his car; he later released a statement saying that he was cut off by two photographers and blamed the accident on "aggressive pursuit by the paparazzi." However, INF owner Chris Doherty told TMZ that his people "had nothing to do with Chris Brown crashing."

Doherty claims that his employees arrived after the crash andsaid, "No photographers were following him at the time he crashed ... He crashed his car and it's convenient for him to blame us. He needs to be careful with his defamatory statements."

Doherty added that the photogaphers were interviewed by police at the scene and that the cops "appeared to be satisfied" the paparazzi were not at fault.
