Stars and musicians commemorate Whitney Houston...
Billboard reports many stars at the Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala wanted to celebrate and remembered the late Whitney Houston and honored Antonio "L.A." Reid.
Houston passed away on February 11 last year. Here are some highlights:
Miguel on remembering Whitney Houston: "Whitney's voice was powerful. She was dynamic. I would like her to be remembered for her voice and smile. I think she'd want to be celebrated."
Dave Grohl's praise of Whitney: "She'll be remembered as one of the most iconic vocalists of all time. Not only did she sell eight-hundred-bazillion records, but she's a fucking amazing singer."
Afrojack on how Houston's life is being celebrated: "I never got to meet her, but it's beautiful to see her friends care so much about her. To see her life being celebrated is touching."
Antonio "LA" Reid on how he would sing with Whitney: "I can't sing, but I used to sing with Whitney, just for fun. Just that beautiful spirit and warm personality and that amazing voice."
