Rapper Tim Dog Passes Away at Age 46
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 02.14.2013

The Source reports that Bronx rapper Tim Dog (nee Tim Blair) has passed away at the age of 46.

The veteran MC reportedly passed away from a seizure after a long battle with diabetes. Additional details regarding his death are scare. Several musicians including Tony Touch, J-Zone and Pete Rock, have expressed their condolences on social media sites regarding Tim Dog's passing.

Tim Dog is best known for his track "F*** Compton." The single is hailed as one of the best disses of all time and targeted Dr. Dre and NWA in the early '90's. The cut elicited response records from DJ Quick, Dr. Dre, and Compton's Most Wanted.

Tim Dog collaborated with Kool Keith under the name Ultra for the 1996 release Big Time. He released several solo LP's over the years including Do or Die, Immortal, and BX Warrior.

Tim Dog entered a guilty plea to grand larceny in September 2011 for defrauding a woman out of thousands of dollars. He reportedly began an online relationship with the woman and insisted he needed investors for a comeback album which caused the woman to build $32,000 in credit card debt.
