[VIDEO] Dave Grohl's Sound City Players Joined By Stevie Nicks
Posted by Joseph Lee on 02.16.2013

NME reports that Dave Grohl's Sound City Players were joined by Stevie Nicks on The Late Show with David Letterman earlier this. Nicks will be a part of the soundtrack to Grohl's documentary Sound City, which is about the recording studio in Van Nuys, California. The two performed "You Can't Fix This".

The group will play a show at London's The Forum on February 19. They have previously only played in America and feature a line-up of the Foo Fighters, Nirvana's Krist Novoselic, Nicks, John Fogerty, Rick Springfield, Fear's Lee Ving, Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen, Brad Wilk Of Rage Against The Machine, Alain Johannes, Chris Goss and more. They formed during the making of the documentary. Paul McCartney also wrote and recorded a song with Grohl.

The group played their second ever show at The Palladium in Hollywood on January 31, after debuting at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah. The set contained 38 songs for three and a half hours after the LA premiere of Sound City. It was split into sections. Each guest musician played four songs, including classics and cuts from the soundtrack.

The film will screen at select UK cinemas on February 18. A screening at London's Vue Leicester Square will be followed by a live Q&A session with Grohl himself.
