Van Halen, Billy Joel Set to Headline Stone Fest in Australia

Van Halen returns to Australia for the first time in over fifteen years...
Billboard reports that Van Halen and Billy Joel will headline the two-day Stone Music Festival this April in Sydney, Australia.
Other acts confirmed for the event include Buckcherry, Richie Ramone, Lifehouse, and the Kings of Chaos. The event will be held on April 20 and 21.
Van Halen hasn't toured Australia since 1998, and never with David Lee Roth on the mic. Billy Joel last played in Australia in December 2008 for the Frontier Touring Company.
Single day tickets for Stone Fest start at Australian $179 ($184) and rise up the scale to Australian $429 ($442) for the two-day "platinum zone" package. Organizers are offering a "Stone Run" package which includes a t-shirt and a DVD of the 1974 biker film Stone (where the event got its name) for an extra Australian $30 ($31). The concert is promoted by Ardline Media and Platinum entertainment.
