Young Jeezy Denies Claims of Man Suing Him for $5 Million
Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 02.17.2013

TMZ reports that rapper Young Jeezy denied the claims from a man who sued him for $5 million for helping him in his budding empire.

Last year, Jeezy was sued for $5 million by Ellerbee Demetrius. Demetrius claims he helped start Jeezy's career and is now owed money from at least four of his albums including The Inspiration and The Recession, both of which went platinum. Ellerbee says he's known Jeezy since 1995 after meeting him at boot camp and that the two formed some record companies together, released mix-tapes, and that he spent time nurturing Jeezy's rap career. He also says he executive produced Jeezy's studio albums with Def Jam.

Jeezy says that Ellerbee is lying and denied the claims in recently filed legal documents. He also says he never entered into any written or oral agreements to share half of his profits with Ellerbee.

The case is still pending.
