Los Angeles' Staples Center to Go Vegetarian for Morrissey Concert
Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 02.18.2013

Los Angeles' Staples Center is set to go vegetarian for Morrissey's concert next month. Billboard reports that the arena vendors will offer strictly vegetarian food during the former Smiths frontman's March 1st concert. Paul McCartney had previously made the same request and was denied.

In addition, all McDonald's outlets in the arena will be closed for the show and a portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to PETA.

Morrissey said in a statement, "I don't look upon it as a victory for me, but a victory for the animals."
