Autopsy confirm the suspicions...
An autopsy has confirmed that Mindy McCready's death was a suicide. Billboard reports that the Cleburne County sheriff's office in Arkansas has released a statement today, revealing that the preliminary autopsy results showed McCready's death to be a suicide form a single gunshot wound to the head.
Investigators believe that McCready shot and killed the dog of her late boyfriend David Wilson and then shot herself on Sunday. Her body and that of the dog were found on the front porch, where Wilson died last month of a gunshot wound to the head.
Wilson's death is still being investigated as a suicide, though an official cause of death hasn't been determined yet.
