Rick Ross Receiving Police Protection in New York City

Due to threats from gangs...
TMZ reports that Rapper Rick Ross is getting 24/7 police protection from the NYPD due to gang threats against him.
Police have been guarding Ross at The London Hotel for several days. According to sources, recent threats have been specifically aimed at Ross and he is not taking them lightly.
Ross' Rolls-Royce was shot up in Ft. Lauderdale in January after Ross' birthday party when Ross was going home. Ross and his passenger were not injured. The shots were reportedly intended as a warning.
