Posted by Jeffrey Harris on 02.27.2013

The Associated Press (via Billboard) reports that Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson will be releasing a memoir set for a June release.

Thompson announced that the book entitled Mo' Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove is set for a June 18 release from Grand Central Publishing. The book will reportedly include the musician's run-ins with "celebrities, idols and fellow artists," including Stevie Wonder, KISS and Jay-Z. It also tackles "some of the lates, the greats, the fakes and the true originals of the music world."

The Roots are the house band for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on NBC. The group has released 12 albums. Thompson, age 42, has been a producer for Jay-Z, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu and John Legend. He has four Grammy Awards.
