ORIGINAL: A fan was killed late Thursday night in a shooting outside of French Montana's tour bus. Billboard reports that a driver opened fire on a crowd surrounding the bus, leaving one dead and injuring another.
The shooting went down at about 11:30 last night after Montana's bus arrived at a hotel outside of Philadelpha, Pennsylvania following his sold-out show in the city. Philadelphia police Chief Inspector Scott Small said that a car pulled up to the crowd that formed around the bus and gunshots rang out, noting that someone may have fired back. Small called the group outside the buss "A large crowd of fans, as well as some of the entourage...loitering and just hanging out."
A man was hit in the abdomen and was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Another was wounded from a gunshot to the shoulder. Investigators are questioning several people; no arrests have been announced. The police don't believe that Montana or his crew were targeted and neither of the victims were part of his entourage.
