Katherine Jackson's Against AEG Over Michael's Death Going to Trial

Katherine Jackson will have her day in court against AEG Live. Billboard reports that the judge in Jackson's lawsuit against the concert company over Michael Jackson's death dismissed most of the counts but left one standing, meaning that the case will go to trial.
The judge in the case dismissed claims that AEG was potentially liable for Conrad Murray's conduct and that it breached its duty to properly care for Jackson by doing so, but did not throw out the claim that the company was negligant in its hiring and supervision of Murray. Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter in administering a lethal dose of Propofol to Jackson.
AEG's attorney has argued that Murray was not employed by the promoter and said that he expects AEG to win at trial. The lawyer claims that Jackson's lawyers will not be able to prove that AEG should have foreseen that Murray was a danger to Jackson. The trial begins on April 2nd.
