Ryan Seacrest Kicks Off Idol Across America in New York City

Seacrest takes the American Idol microphone on tour...
Ryan Seacrest's official website announced that American Idol host Seacrest has kicked off Idol Across America where fans across the country can run the Idol microphone.
The tour of the microphone starts in New York City. The mic will then travel to throughout 13 cities and visit such landmarks as Fenway Park, the Las Vegas strip, and the Grand Canyon. Seacrest stated: "It's going to be cool because as the microphone comes through each city, it will be run by fans of the show, local heroes, inspirational figures, celebrities and then it will end up on our stage in Hollywood."
