When the songs are ready...
The Daily Mail spoke with Adele while at the Governors Ball (after the Academy Awards) where she spent time with Barbra Streisand and Dame Shirley Bassey after Adele won Best Song for "Skyfall" with Paul Epworth.
She said that she planned to spend another ten days in Los Angeles, splitting her time between meetings and "having some laughs".
When said that her fans were waiting for a follow-up to 19 and 21, she replied: "Tell me about it, so am I. They'll come when they're ready, and when I've got something to sing about."
Adele, her boyfriend Simon Konecki and Shirley Bassey then went to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, where they spent time with Bono, Jimmy Buffett, T-Bone Burnett, Suzanne de Passe, Quincy Jones, Elton John and David Furnish, John Legend and Steven Tyler.
Bassey was asked why she waited as long as she did to perform at the Oscars, and she said: "I've had the time of my life, and this has been a dream come true."
