Dave Grohl Assembles Sound City Players Lineup for SXSW

Dave Grohl has announced that his Sound City Players group will perform at SXSW this week. Billboard reports that Grohl's supergroup that formed out of the Sound City documentary will perform in support of the film as well as the soundtrack Sound City: Real To Reel on March 14th.
Performing as part of the group are Grohl, Stevie Nicks, John Fogerty, Rick Springfield, Lee Ving of Fear, Rick Nielsen, Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine, Corey Taylor of Slipknot and Stone Sour, Chris Goss of Masters of Reality and Alain Johannes. The Meat Puppets will serve as the opening act.
