Whitney Houston Investigation Records Released by FBI

The FBI has released films on three investigations conducted on behalf of the late Whitney Houston. Billboard reports that the files, which were released on Monday, revealed that the FBI investigated an alleged extortion attempt in 1992 as well as threats to Houston via fan mail in 1988 and 1999.
None of the investigations revealed criminal activity, according to the 128 page report. The records of the FBI extortion investigation, which saw Houston interviewed, are heavily redacted.
