Adele's "Skyfall" Returns To Billboard Digital Songs Chart

But Macklemore and Ryan Lewis still have a stranglehold on #1...
It's nothing new at the #1 spot on the Billboard Digital Songs Chart, as Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" is still on top.
This week is notable, however, in that Adele's Academy Award-winning song "Skyfall" manages to climb 32-10, an 88% increase, to get back into the top ten of the chart. This is the best sales week since December 1, 2012 when it had 120,000. It manages to get 105,000 this time out. Adele's performance at the Academy Awards was her first on TV in over a year. She last sang on stage during the BRIT Awards on February 21, 2012.

3. Baauer - "Harlem Shake" (228,000)
4. Demi Lovato - "Heart Attack" (215,000)
5. Rihanna (ft. Mikky Ekko) - "Stay" (211,000)
6. Drake - "Started From The Bottom" (142,000)
7. Justin Timberlake (ft. Jay-Z) - "Suit & Tie" (141,000)
8. Will.I.Am (ft. Britney Spears) - "Scream & Shout" (122,000)
9. Taylor Swift - "I Knew You Were Trouble" (121,000)
10. Adele - "Skyfall" (105,000)
Digital sales this week totaled 26.12 million downloads, down 3% compared to last week (26.89 million) and down 4% compared to last year (27.12 million). Year to date track sales are at 253.38 million, down 2% compared to the same total at this point last year (258.04 million).
